What Frameskim is

Frameskim is an actor on the Apify platform that extracts frames, transcript segments and moments from a single public YouTube video per run, at the request of the user who runs it. These terms apply in addition to the Apify terms of service.

No affiliation

Frameskim is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by YouTube or Google. YouTube is a trademark of Google LLC.

Your responsibility for the videos you process

By running Frameskim you confirm that you have the right to process each video you submit, under the video's license, the owner's permission or the law that applies to you. Frameskim only processes the single video you ask for: no channels, playlists or searches.

Takedown requests

Rights holders can ask us to stop processing a video or a channel through the Issues tab of the actor's page on Apify Store or by email to [email protected]. Blocked videos and channels are refused on the next run, without charge.

Billing and refunds

Apify bills each run per event, at the prices shown on the actor's page, and never above the spending limit you set for the run. Payments, invoices and refunds are handled by Apify under its terms. A run that ends with an error says "Nothing was charged." and is not billed.

Price changes

We announce any price change on the actor's page at least 14 days before it takes effect.

Availability

Frameskim is provided as is, without a warranty of availability or fitness for a purpose. YouTube can block a request: the run then falls back to low-resolution storyboard frames, or ends without charge. We may change or retire the actor.
